Cheeseman Transport is hiring CDL A Regional Dry Van Drivers in Cullman, AL. Drivers will be hauling manufacturing parts and forklifts in 53ft dry van trailers in the midwest & southeast regions. Compensation

• Average weekly pay: $1,600 
  • Base 65 CPM with an average of 2,500-2,800 miles weekly 
  • Paid practical miles, paid for all miles loaded or empty 
  • Per-diem pay options available
• Additional pay:
  • Stop pay: $14 - $30 per stop including the first & last stop
  • Securing pay: $1 per 1000 pounds secured
• Bonuses:
  • Sign-on bonus: $3,000
  • Referral bonus: $5,000
  • Quarterly safety bonus
  • Service awards
• Paid via direct deposit weekly

Home Time, Route, & Schedule

• Home Time: Home 2 nights weekly, primarily on the weekend
• Schedule: 5-6 days out
• Route: Midwest & southeast regions 
• Level of Touch: No loading or unloading, must secure freight in trailers

Equipment

• Newer model Kenworth, Peterbilt, and Freightliner sleepers
• Automatic transmission
• Amenities: electric APU and power inverter
• Governed speed: 70 mph 
• ELD equipped using Geotab
• Outward facing camera

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age  
• Must have CDL A license 
• Must have a minimum of 6 months verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
• Must have hazmat & tanker endorsements or be willing to obtain within 60 days of employment
• No felony in the past 7 years
• No alcohol related offense in the past 5 years
• Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations 
• Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen 
• Hiring Radius: Drivers must live within 50 miles of Cullman, AL
